Expansion Joints

Thousands of our Expansion Joints are used in industry today, in the United States, North and South America, Asia and abroad. They are exceptionally durable and efficient. Type 54 Expansion Joints can be furnished in round, square or rectangular shapes, and can withstand temperatures of 1,000°F/538°C and pressures to 27" W.C. Lengths range from 6" through 48", widths from 10" through 84", and heights from 10" through 130". We will also custom design Expansion Joints to meet your unique size or heating requirements.

Type 54 Expansion Joints are used in duct systems to compensate for thermal movements, vibration, and shock. Our steel flanges are available in painted mild steel or 304 Stainless Steel. High temperature sleeves are available in a variety of fabrics. Expansion Joints can be round, square, or rectangular in shape. Our standard design can withstand temperatures from 250°F/135°C to 1000°F/538°C. Custom designs are available for Refractory and other special applications.
